1. For your EQ band problem: In the module options, go to eq and plot
submenu and make sure that 1 band is checked. For some reason the 4 band eq
doesn't work with JSonar. Once you have 1 band eq enabled, You can then go
to the "EQ disabled" button and press ENTER to enable the eq. Press down
arrow to the band button and press ENTER on it. A context menu will come up
giving you all 4 bands. Arrow to the one you want and press enter on it. All
other controls in the eq will be for that particular band. You should be
able to change bands without losing the settings for your other bands.
Haven't tested, but worth a try.
2. For you not being able to hear any changes, you need to make sure the
band you are working with is enabled first. Just because it's displayed,
doesn't mean it's enabled. You need to enable the eq, enable the band and
then make your changes.
This should work with prerecorded tracks as well as realtime playing. EQ is
EQ. It shouldn't make a difference. Let me know if you have other things
that need sorting out on the eq. Just getting into trying the sonitus eq, so
this should be fun (6+ bands?) scarry~

Andy,
I've been trying out some of your suggestions below for using the per track
eq from the track inspector pane of sonar.
I am using the latest version of the scripts (build 1195) as well as sonar
8.53.
I am having two problems and am wondering if you have any advice or if this
is something that just doesn't work with the JSonar scripts:
1. No matter what fields I turn on/off in the Display settings and what I
choose to turn on in the Modules options, I can only see parameters for the
first two eq bands. Thus, even if I try and show all 4 bands that are
allowed, only two show up in the list of options in the track inspector.
2. Despite the fact that I click on the "enable eq 1" options in the track
inspector, I don't hear any difference in the output. What I did here was:
a. Choose a particular band of audio which I previously had
recorded.
b. Play the audio back and kept changing the eq parameters
for this track. I didn't hear any differences.
c. Is it possible that this per track eq capability only
works for recording audio and not for playback?
Anyway, if you have any advice, please let me know.

Are the Track EQ parameters accessible using JSonar? I couldn't figure out
how to view and/or use the track EQ parameters from within the track
inspector.
The Sonar help file says one has to optionally turn this on via the console
view (which is not accessible using JSonar).
