At the risk of sounding unhumble, Some of My livelihood depends on
being accurate, and
giving good advice and appropriate information.
I do this stuff day in and day out, I have a very high success rate.
I enjoy helping on these free lists, but for obvious reasons, no one
can trouble-shoot and fix many problems that require lots of prior
knowledge and information about the system involved.
Since I trained you, and we went through that whole mess with the
netbook, and there was a lot of time invested, which should have
benefited you a lot more than it did, it just disappoints me that you
aren't recording effectively.
In some ways, someone who knows nothing and follows instructions to
the letter is better off than someone who knows a little bit and then
puts it together in the wrong way.
No technician can solve a problem where poor hardware choices are
made, and or there are user settings or pre-installed software which
are hostile to a given environment.
Keep in mind, though jsonar is a very good product for most of us, it
is also beta software in many ways, especially if you are running the
latest snapshots.
YOu could spend months trying to trouble-shoot this kind of thing.
Or you could take the advice which you paid for and that was given
you and have a properly working system that gave you no trouble.
It's up to you.
It's going to cost you one way or another, whether in time and
frustration, or a few more sheckles 'smile'.

Chriss, while your opinion is appreciated, I think the problem isn't
just that it doesn't work, it's that it works sometimes and
sometimes it doesn't, which leads me to believe that there's a way
to make it work the rest of the time. There's something I must have
accidentally done, plus, sighted people can't even see the insert
sends which leads me to believe it's a display setting or something,
which can be easily fixed by knowing the right tech expert,
*grin*. At least that's the theory. All I know is when I had a
bunch of cloned tracks, the insert send worked, when I didn't, it
didn't. Well, I think I only had two cloned tracks.
