A lot to cover here.
I'm in the middle of a big album project, but we can explore this
with booked time if you like.
The short answer is that you might be able to do it this way, but it
might not be practical.
Peace.

Hi Chris and all,

Midi learn and assign a fader to the volume on that track.
Yes, I've done that, but since I do not have a midi controller, and
since I do not really want to manually record fader movements, but
instead to insert a set of linear fader movements by numbers over a
specific time range, the problem is that I can't do this because the
"Insert controlers" menu is disabled for audio tracks.
Or perhaps I'm missing something - is the "Insert controlers" not
the way I should be doing this?
Also, If I want to know what will the corresponding 0 DB translate
to in the Midi volume numbers, how could I figure that out? Will it
be value 100, and will the max 6 DB translate to midi 127?
Thanks in advance for any further advice.

Hi JSonar landers,
Quick question:
I am looking for a way to insert a series of volume events into an
audio track, very smoothly over a specific time range, let's say
for example, from -15 DB to 0 DB, between the time range of
3:01:000 to 3:03:000.
I thought of using the Insert Series of events and choosing
Volume, but does this not insert only controler 7 midi volume
events and thus will not affect an audio track?
Anyone has any ideas to accomplish what I am trying to achieve?
Thanks guys from all over the place.
Warm regards
Yamuna Jivana dasa
