Here's a link to IBM's WebSphere Studio Entry Edition. It's free and works
fairly well. The best free jsp editor is still notepad.

Subject: Unix commands from Servlets

Hi

I have some questions which ought to be cleared
before I start up my project.

 1. I was trying to run unix commands from my
servlet. I used the getRunTime() and exec commands
appropriately. It ran perfectly when stand alone
Java applications were run but when the same code is
made to run through servlets, it gave me an
IOException and most times my JSWDK startserver
terminated. It would be great if u can provided with
some sample code for this.

I would really appreciate if you can advice me in
the above said stuff.

Thanks
Manish
