This may be true for Tomcat 3.1, which is the latest released *final*
version. But it does work in Tomcat 3.2 Beta 4, and the final 3.2 will
be released "any day now". Tomcat 3.2 Beta 4 is in much better shape than
the final 3.1 version, so I recommend anyone still using 3.1 to try
out 3.2 Beta 4 instead.
