The method description of setAttribute is as follows:

public void setAttribute(java.lang.String name,
                         java.lang.Object value)

So just typecast arraylist and add it to session as follows:
session.setAttribute ("SelectedProducts", (Object)al);

Method setAttribute(java.lang.String, java.util.ArrayList) not found in
interface javax.servlet.http.HttpSession.

what do i do?
