I'd say the AVERAGE GUY (or GAL) of two years is earning between 35K-45K per year
for a Java e-Commerce development in the south of england across the spectrum of
industry from Mobile real time tech to Media to financial. If you have J2EE is
certainly
is much more by 10-20K me thinks

hi,
its good to see java technologies have life & i wish to happen so,
but
i found a totally different situtation in my place(Bangalore/India),
i am giving my personal experience, i agree that this may not be the case
for all.
basically i am fresher direct from campus with B.Tech(=BS) degree in cs,when
i was
searching for job, i found many many companies who r just looking for c/c++
programmers than java programmers, due to which i remain unemployed for some
time.
i am definitely not a bad java programmer
one intersting thing i found in my interviews is the last question will be
*r u intersted to change the field*
i used to reply *no*
and the response from them is *....*
if some one feels its off-topic then i am really sorry for that.
basically i am mailing this is to know "is it myself alone who has faced
this
situation r some thing like this happening".
