The short answer to your questions is no. You are using/calling MS built in
functionality in your example below.
But, you can use a JSP tag library to bind xml data to an xslt stylsheet.
If you are using JRUN as your server, JRUN has a pretty good set of built in
tag libraries that will also convert JDBC data to xml data. If you are
using another JSP server, and it does NOT have it's own set of tag
libraries, consider using the Jakarta xsl and xtags tag library at
http://jakarta.apache.org/taglibs/index.html.
I've been using the JRUN tag library, so I have not had a need to use the
two particular tag libraries I mentioned above, but I have used some of the
other Jarkarta tag libraries, and I've been pretty satisfied with them so
far.
Good luck!!!

dear all,
is there any jsp or java class to doing something like msxml in asp?
i mean in asp, we can send xml data like this:
set objXMLHttp = server.createObject("Msxml2.XMLHTTP")
objXMLHttp.open "POST", "http://202.150.91.210:1111/usg/command.asp", false
objXMLHttp.send xmlDoc
is there any relevant function in jsp or java class?
