in SQL you can "delete" the data base on your criteria and "update" with the
replacement

Subject: SQL apostrophie INSERT problem

Could anyone direct me to any methods that can be used to filter a
string which is to be inserted into an SQL table.

For example, if the string contains an apostrophie, I need to replace it
with an escape charatcter. Are there methods in the API that can take
care of this, or should I write my own?
