To Answer my own question it seems BST can be set as follows:
SimpleDateFormat formatter= new SimpleDateFormat ("E hh:mm a (dd/MM)");
formatter.setTimeZone(TimeZone.getTimeZone("Europe/London"));
String OutString = formatter.format(DatePosted);
