here too it gives me null in colspan when i gave it "8" and it shows the width 10% which is correct. i can't get colspan in javascript help Vaishali Relience Ind Ltd A'bad I´ve never done this before, but I have a text here that could be helpful. Try this: document.all.mytd.style.getAttribute("colspan",case) where case is a string with value "true" if you want case sensitive or "false" if you don´t.
