I'd like to see a set of standard docs shipped with JSPWiki. Maybe make it part of corepages or something similar?

Janne Jalkanen commented on JSPWIKI-344:

2.6 documentation is in http://doc.jspwiki.org/2.6/, which is actually a permanent redirect to /2.4/ (because the releases were so similar).

I can create /2.8/, if necessary. But it seems to me that it might be a good idea just make it the same wiki, so we don't have to keep maintaining the different ones.

Frankly, I don't really know what would be the best way to provide documentation. It is currently sprinkled in three different places: in the source code repo, doc.jspwiki.org and www.jspwiki.org. Any ideas, opinions?

doc.jspwiki.org needs to be updated for JSPWiki 2.8
---------------------------------------------------

               Key: JSPWIKI-344
               URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JSPWIKI-344
           Project: JSPWiki
        Issue Type: Task
        Components: Documentation & website
          Reporter: Janne Jalkanen
           Fix For: 2.8

Our documentation website needs to be prepared for 2.8; that is, at least
* What is new in 2.8
* Upgrading from 2.4
* Upgrading from 2.6
