Kurt Stein commented on JSPWIKI-438:
------------------------------------
Sorry for punching into a pain point. ;-)
I think most devs are also familiar with the java project structure. And as
Trevor Harrison mentioned, a more standardized structure makes it easier for
newcomers to contribute to the project.
I took me 3 days trying to set up eclipse to automatically build the project
and start it in the tomcat. I have to admit i couldn't make it.
Thus every time I change some code and would like to test it, I must 'ant' the
build.xml script to publish to new code to my tomcat working directory.
If you have motivated your eclipse to automatically build your project and run
it on a tomcat, I would be delighted to have an instruction of how to do it. I
am out of options.

> Hi,
> I am having difficulties to install JSPWiki in Eclipse. I know that Janne has
> made some scripts that compile to project. Well, Eclipse runs some nice
> background compiling development features so that you don´t need to run the
> script everytime you change some code.
> Only thing is you need to arrange the wiki structure i little bit more like a
> web project.
> I know that this has been a issue before but are there any reasons why f.e.
> the webdocs can´t be moved to WEB-INF?
