I did a bunch of searching through the site to try and find some
information about sectional editing. The only references I was able to
find were a few by DirkFrederickx and the sectional editing and section
widget he put into the BrushedTemplate. There is some very light
discussion as to how to implement this sort of functionality into
another template on this page:

http://www.jspwiki.org/wiki/BrushedTemplateSectionQuickLinks

But it isn't quite enough to explain how it all works, whether or not it
is built on JSPWiki core functionality or BrushedTemplate specific
functionality and/or how it would be implemented into another template.

Dirk, I see that you have sent a couple emails to this list before
although the last one is from a month or two ago. Any chance you still
read this mailing list and could provide some insight? :)

Thanks.

Subject: [Jspwiki-users] Sectional Editing

I was playing with the latest version the BrushedTemplate and noticed
the really cool sectional editing that it has. Are there any plans to
build sectional editing into the JSPWiki core?

I currently use the FCKEditor on my wiki because I prefer true WYSIWYG
whereas the WikiWizard editor and the plain editor that BrushedTemplate
use are either WYSIWYM or just markup. Does anyone have any idea as to
how difficult it would be to integrate sectional editing into a template
using the FCKEditor or if it is even possible?

Thanks!

-Evan
