Now now, the fault is with the software developers not following
the C Standard. C is not a good language, and the Standard can
be tricky, and there really are many issues with it, but Microsoft's
choice is compliant and sane.

Contrarily, when the Unix bigots got hit by upgrades to 64 bits
almost all open source software broke.
