Maybe CJAN has that already?
Hatch, what's your take on this thing? A google for ANT + CJAN is returning minimal love.
There was also an effort called JJAR, and Ruper (http://www.krysalis.org/ruper/). I'm guessing (I haven't followed it closely) that all the same folks are involved in this new effort, including the Maven repo folks.
My take? Uh, sure, go ahead and create it. Sounds useful. But count me out for the next few months :)
