Thanks Jameson, in fact I decided to upgrade to Yosemite 10.10.5 and (finally) got a good build.
For anyone else following the same path: after upgrading to Yosemite and doing a complete reinstall of Julia 0.4, I still had problems with "lcrt1.10.6.o not found" during the deps openblas build.
