The generic Linux binaries
from https://status.julialang.org/download/linux-x86_64 are usually kept a
little more up to date, the buildbots repsonsible for those aren't quite as
picky as the Launchpad setup on Ubuntu's servers.

Travis can be fixed by switching to the more recent "language: julia"
template, which uses the generic Linux binaries rather than the Ubuntu PPA.
