The first release candidate of the 0.4 series is available for download from the usual place <http://julialang.org/downloads/>. Please test extensively, report issues to the issue tracker <https://github.com/JuliaLang/julia/issues> for base Julia problems, and report issues with packages to their respective issue trackers. The 0.4 series will undergo a period of stabilization in anticipation of a final release as soon as feasible, while new breaking development will continue to occur on the master branch which will target a 0.5 release further down the line.
