It can also be useful to set up filtering to take advantage of GitHub's differential notification feature:
- notifications for issues in which you are directly involved (because you subscribed, commented, or were '@' mentioned) will have your specific email address set in the cc: field. - notifications due to watching a repository are only sent to a broadcast address.
