my question to Andreas pointed to understand in which files AdbToolbox (a clone 
of Openjump) stored its wfs and wms url. It seems that it uses a slight 
modification of Openjump one

I think Andreas means the default URLs are put directly in the source
code. That normally means you have to edit the source code and
build/compile the source code to make changes effective. However,
Andreas said that changing the values in the workbench XML file will
do the trick. The source code is deisgned to ignore the hard coded
values if values are found in the workbench XML file.
