You are right, Stefan,
unfortunately is not opensource and it has poor
editing tools (not like OpenJUMP).
Last version is free to download and it can be used as
a converter/support software for OpenJUMP (for Win
Users). I liked FGIS because it is fast in rendering
and has good support for DXF, even big files
(Unfortunately in Italy many
municipalities/governments still use
DWG/ArcGIS/Autocad as standard).
I hope one day we could tranfer those nice render/dxf
functionalities to OJ.
