you may need to open the xxx-mac.sh file in an editor, remove the line
breaks and add them again. Then save the file and try again to start.
if this does not work.. then you may try OpenJUMP (www.openjump.org)
and openjump.sh
i.e. open a console and type "sh openjump.sh"
this was working on my Mac

Thanks for the quick response. I tried
~/Desktop/jump-1.2/bin bgn$ ./JUMPWorkbench-unix.sh
: bad interpreter: No such file or directory
~/Desktop/jump-1.2/bin bgn$ ./JUMPWorkbench-unix-2.sh
: bad interpreter: No such file or directory
Results are the same.

Does anyone have any experience installing JUMP on
Mac OS X 10.4? The above error message is a bit weak
on specifics.
Can you try to use the standard openjump.sh unix script?
Best regards, Andreas
