Hi All, I am configuring BGP for one of my customer's MX-5 router. I need to configure the BGP attribute "weight" Is there any way of assigning "weight" attribute on subnets learned from an EBGP peer.
Cisco config of this is as following. router bgp 123 neighbor pipe-bne soft-reconfiguration inbound neighbor pipe-bne route-map ABC-IN in route-map ABC-IN permit 10 set weight 1500 I googled it and found following, which kinda says that we cant play with weight attribute in policies. Is this correct? http://www.juniper.net/techpubs/software/erx/erx41x/swconfig-routing-vol2/html/bgp-config9.html Regards, *Ali Sumsam CCIE* *Network Engineer - Level 3* eintellego Pty Ltd a...@eintellego.net ; www.eintellego.net Phone: 1300 753 383 ; Fax: (+612) 8572 9954 Cell +61 (0)410 603 531 facebook.com/eintellego PO Box 7726, Baulkham Hills, NSW 1755 Australia The Experts Who The Experts Call Juniper - Cisco – Brocade - IBM _______________________________________________ juniper-nsp mailing list juniper-nsp@puck.nether.net https://puck.nether.net/mailman/listinfo/juniper-nsp
