Is Juniper one of those vendors who doesn't play happy with non-'blessed' SFPs on certain platforms? I think I've heard stories about the MXes, but I don't have first-hand experience.

I am using Cisco SX SFP for this. On Cisco Side interface status is in up/up state but on juniper side it is down. What could be the reason? I know SFP is not faulty.
