Dear K-9 App Support Folks ... I am having a serious problem with the K-9 email client app on my Samsung Note 8 on Android 4.2.2.
The last several lines of my text plus some characters of the preceding line are being deleted from sent messages. (This occurs before the reply text that follows.) I say this is serious because it has caused confusion and misunderstanding from recipients (due to the missing content). The missing text occurs at the end of my message but before the text that I am replying to, which follows. I emphasize this symptom because it seems to indicate that the truncation occurred in K-9, before it left the application. POSSIBLY IMPORTANT: (1) In settings, I have checked Remove Signatures When Replying. (2) With the Note 8, I was also using a USB ZAGG keyboard. So I am wondering if there is some kind of buffering issue where the text makes it from the keyboard to screen, but the trailing text of say 10-100 characters does not make it in time to another representation of the message somewhere else in the K-9 app. Your help appreciated! ...
