>From the K-9 side of things, you are in total control of the "From:"
address on your messages. 

You can set the default email address for an account under the
"sending mail/composition defaults" account-level options. You can
also set up "identities" so that you can sent mail from an address
other than the account default.

Some mail providers require that the "From" address on messages
matches the account you are authenticating with to drop mail on
their outgoing mail server. If that's your case there's not much
that K-9 can do to help you as that's an issue between you and your
mail service provider.
