I have recently noticed a "Failed to send some messages" error come up a
lot more recently. It seems that K-9 is not waiting long enough to
establish a connection to my smtp server. I have noticed that there is a
delay in connecting with my desktop client as well. The delay isn't a K-9
issue.

The problem is there is no way to adjust K-9's behavior to help. It would
be nice if a timeout value was available to adjust the timeout for the
incoming or outgoing server to help with this issue.

After several attempts, K-9 silently puts the outgoing email into the Draft
folder and gives up.

Thanks,

Bill
