Some thoughts now on this part:

Just to confirm: when you double-click on a
registration file, it uses the "EFHelper.exe" application
that comes with Kaboodle 0.72 (aka, EchoFree) to:

1. verify the signature on the file
2. install that file into the RegistrationFile directory
   in Programs/Echogent/EchoFree
3. modify the registry to indicate registration is done.

EFHelper.exe knows about .ecf files because of the
Installer script that comes with version 0.72. So...when
you say you "downloaded and registered the register file",
I think it's likely you overwrote whatever was there. I'll
reinstall EchoFree tonight into its "unregistered" state.
Unfortunately...there's nothing in the "Remote Networks"
PropertyTab of the Network Icon which shows whether Kaboodle
is registered or not. I should add that to my internal bug
list.

Huh! That's odd. Sounds like you did everything right. When
I go to the GetEngaged website and sign on as "[EMAIL PROTECTED]",
I get to the WaitForClient screen when creating a partnership with
"[EMAIL PROTECTED]". I also get to this screen using your
"[EMAIL PROTECTED]" email address. So, they've both been registered
successfully. Please try again with these address, or perhaps
using "[EMAIL PROTECTED]".
