In fact, my motivation for compiling was to test the French localization I promised a year ago. I went through the docs you put on https://gna.org/bugs/?19644 plus the KDE Translation HOWTO http://l10n.kde.org/docs/translation-howto/index.html which is also very useful. I've started playing with the "Lokalize" GUI to edit the .po file. I don't get all the options, but globally I like it and it's quite straightforward to use. For now, I've played a bit and got 60/400 strings translated. I can continue to work on it today. Would it make sense to include it in 0.5 ? (as a source of self-motivation for me ;-) ) best, Pierre
