You might try re-installing after backing up everything. I look at it more
as a time crunch mission critical issue. If something happened where a file
was removed or corrupted in the process, you might end up spending too much
time screwing around trying to pin point the issue, when it might take less
time to back it all up and re-install the OS or just the program that has
the corrupted files.

Have you opened up IIS manager and made sure the site is running there?

Subject: [KCFusion] Yipes - CF server inaccessible
Importance: High

We had an overnight power failure and now our CF5 intranet is
inaccessible no matter what. When I go into our server room and log in I
can't reach the administrative page, and just get "cannot find server"
IE errors. (But I can reach the IIS admin web page; IIS is running
fine.) All CF and WWW services are up and running. Can browse to the Web
from this machine, so I know our connection to the outside world is OK.
Nothing specific in the event logs.
Tried rebooting the machine several times. Management is already asking
when it will be fixed. I've never had this happen before. Any tips!
