needs.  I believe they moved the databases over to new servers and tweaked

forums and presumably the archives via a news reader.  Long before Forums
type software there was Usenet News (30,000+ newsgroups exist), think of it
like a big forum in text format.  In many cases it is actually faster/easier
to use a news reader.
