Zamundaaa <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |[email protected] Status|REPORTED |NEEDSINFO Resolution|--- |WAITINGFORINFO --- Comment #1 from Zamundaaa <[email protected]> --- If you can't switch VTs, then there's a chance KWin's main thread is blocking on something. Can you get a backtrace of it? > kwin_core: Failed to delay sleep: The operation inhibition has been requested > for is already running > kwin_wayland_drm: Atomic modeset test failed! Permission denied > kwin_wayland_drm: Setting dpms mode failed! The permission denied warning suggests that switching VTs maybe did work (and at least take away KWin's permissions to re-enable the screen), but the screen still didn't turn on? Can you get the full log (journalctl --user-unit plasma-kwin_wayland --boot 0) from when the screen stays black, before you do anything on the laptop itself? The drm debug log (https://invent.kde.org/plasma/kwin/-/wikis/Debugging/Debugging-DRM-issues) could also be useful -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
