--- Comment #1 from [email protected] --- systemd has "run0" alternative to "sudo". When used it triggers a popup to enter your password there (so its even better for beginners as it uses GUI). You can go even further and each time when a program requires admin rights to run you can rerun it seamlessly with run0 in the background and user will just see a popup to enter their password. So it'll be the same as in Windows. Also, if the current user is an admin, then it's kinda pointless to ask a password each time (they already entered it when logging in), so you can set run0 to not ask for a password if the user is admin (if it's possible), so instead of a popup with a password field there'll be just a button to agree to grant right to the program. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
