SUMMARY
When I want to import a PDF to use text recognition, I have to turn on scanner
because otherwise the import button and all other are innactive, except for the
"reload device list" button.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
Happens every time after launcing an app without a connected scanner
OBSERVED RESULT
All buttons are disabled when there's no scanner connected
EXPECTED RESULT
Only the buttons that require a scanner are disabled. Import is always enabled
no matter connected devices
