Excellent, so the feature exists and ostensibly has been patterned after existing controlled vocabulary hierarchies. Where is the documentation highlighting the formatting requirements that digikam requires for the imported text file? And if this documentation doesn't exist yet, I'd be happy to volunteer to contribute it to the 9.x manual. Neither the Tags View nor DAM sections of the manual cover this at the moment.
