Summary: Takes a long time to detect monitor after powering on
after updating to 6.6.2
Classification: Plasma
Product: kwin
Version First 6.6.2
Reported In:
Platform: EndeavourOS
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
Severity: minor
Priority: NOR

Target Milestone: ---
SUMMARY
When I power on my HDMI-connected HKC OVERSEAS LIMITED G2411P, it takes a long
time for KDE to detect its presence. journalctl displays nothing until
approximately 15 seconds after I press the power button, when the line
"org_kde_powerdevil[132268]: [221669] Udev event detected" appears, and the
monitor receives a picture a few seconds later. Previously, when I powered on
the monitor, it would take only a few seconds before the monitor received a
signal. My DP-connected monitor work as it always has. (Swapping the cables
right now would be a pain, though I can do it if it's really necessary.)
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Turn on the monitor
OBSERVED RESULT
It takes around fifteen seconds for the monitor to get the signal.
EXPECTED RESULT
It takes a few seconds for the monitor to get the signal.
