--- Comment #5 from WofWca <[email protected]> --- Hmm you're right. I tried this on another user and I can't reproduce the exact behavior, i.e. the "All screens are disabled". However, I can still easily break Spectacle and the Virtual Desktop "icons". 1. Create another user 2. Open the lid and disconnect the external monitor 3. Log in as new user 4. Plug in the monitor. Don't do anything in the "monitor setup" popup. 5. Close the lid. 6. Press Print Screen (or run `spectacle`) (will not work) 7. Create a Virtual Desktop (will not display window positions on its icon in the Panel). When the lid is closed, it shows "replication source: 0" on the external monitor, not like on my original account. Also after doing that when I log in to my original account, all the screens turn black. Aaand I just remembered something that might be relevant and could lead to me ending up in this state: the fact that I used to use a different external monitor. Hopefully the outputs of `kscreen-console config` attached (irrelevant IMO stuff edited out) can give you a more complete picture. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
