Summary: Freehand Brush in Eraser mode disregards Assistants
Classification: Applications

Results of drawing an "A" with two parallel rulers enabled, normally (left) and
in Eraser mode (right).
DESCRIPTION
When drawing with the Freehand Brush in Eraser mode, it disregards Assistants.
(I didn't try every type of assistant, but at least the parallel ruler,
ellipse, and curvilinear perspective Assistants are affected, so I suspect it's
all of them.)
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Prepare a document on which both regular and eraser marks will be readily
visible. Add at least one Assistant to it and make sure Snap to Assistants is
enabled in the Freehand Brush tool options.
2. Disable Eraser mode and make marks normally to confirm that the assistants
work.
3. Enable Eraser mode and make marks (or anti-marks, as it were).
OBSERVED RESULT
The marks are completely freehand, unaffected by the Assistants. For example,
if I have a parallel ruler assistant, I can still erase in squiggles rather
than being restricted to parallel lines.
EXPECTED RESULT
The marks should be affected by the Assistants, the same as when not in Eraser
mode.
SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
OS Version: Windows 10
Qt Version: 5.15.7 (why isn't this displayed in About Krita?)
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Toggling snapping off and on while already in Eraser mode doesn't help.
If this is a feature rather than a bug, then it should be configurable.
