PLM reserves tty1 for itself but while logged in to a session switching to tty1
with Ctrl + Shift + F1 will only display a blinking cursor. It would be
slightly more convenient if PLM would show the user-switching UI when the user
switches to tty1 via the standard shortcut, like GNOME's GDM does it.
