--- Comment #4 from Mihai Sorin Dobrescu <[email protected]> ---
Try this:
- open a Dolphin instance and have few tabs with split on various paths
- open a second Dolphin instance and have few tabs with split on various paths
- (optionally) open a third Dolphin instance and have few tabs with split on
various paths
Then logoff/reboot. Note, during the logoff process dialogs are opened to ask
if the user is sure to close Dolphin instances. Do not operate, let them so.
Under X11 Plasma, the session is saved and each of them is restored as it was,
with all tabs, splits, paths and selections.
The setup allows me to always start fresh instances on a specific path (user
home in my case) and to have the opened ones restored between user sessions.
