Happily, there's a good chance https://invent.kde.org/plasma/spectacle/-/commit/22532dc8234f001264ed6ca609e4caebe6f194d0 fixed it, as it was addressing basically the same situation. That went into Plasma 6.7, which is being released tomorrow. Affected people, can you test again with Spectacle from Plasma 6.7 once your distro offers it to you and you've upgraded to it (and rebooted)? And also for the other mentioned bug reports?
