When I attempt to assign a shortcut to M and it is already taken, I also get the popup about the duplicate, so I can't reproduce any issues there. Can you find a way to reproduce the issue? Either the mirror view shortcut reassigning itself back to the default or the conflict dialog somehow not appearing. And otherwise, do you recall how you ended up in that situation? Like, which version(s) of Krita you installed from where and when you reassigned the M shortcut.
