--- Comment #1 from [email protected] --- Further extrapolating on this... The issue really becomes noticeable when you have multiple monitors of different physical sizes and different resolutions. In this state mouse traversal across the monitors ceases to match the real world view of the monitors due to DPI differences. It'd be incredibly handy to be able to control the mouse transition ratio between the monitors independently of the monitor scaling. I don't want to make my 1440p monitor scale higher, nor do I want my 1080p monitors scaled down. I just want the bottom of my 24in 1080p screen to correctly transition to the same spot physically on the 27in 1440p display. See https://imgur.com/wUkL5Zq for what I'm talking about. The top diagram is my monitor setup, both physically and how they are set up in display configuration. The red area marked in the top graphic is not traversalable with my mouse because the top 1,080 pixels on the 1440p monitor are physically smaller than on the side display. The middle diagram is an expanded view of the problem. Moving the mouse along the red lines translates you to the part of the screen shown. Note that the traversal area does not line up with the physical positions of the monitors. The bottom diagram is the desired end-state. Note that the green lines correctly map the top corner of the smaller monitor to the top corner of the larger monitor and the bottom corner of the smaller monitor to the correctly proportional location on the larger monitor. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
