Bug ID: 522020
Summary: Ledger Sorting is not working when sorting by Number
or date
Classification: Applications
Product: kmymoney
Version First 5.2.2
Reported In:
Platform: Ubuntu
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
Severity: major
Priority: NOR
Component: ux-ui
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Target Milestone: ---
DESCRIPTION:
First, there is no easy way to right click and sort any longer, THIS IS BAD.
Second, When I go through the hoops to adjust the sorting it makes NO changes
at all. I'm trying to sort strictly by number and then by date while
reconciling an account, but no matter how I try the sorting stays exactly as it
was.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open any Checking or Credit Card Ledger
2. Go to Sorting tab of settings (because for some reason right clicking to
sort is no longer available).
3. change sorting in any way, and click apply.
OBSERVED RESULT
NOTHING changes of real value.
EXPECTED RESULT
The Ledger should be sorted by Number (i.e. checks should be sorted by number,
then "CC" transactions, then "Dep", etc. etc.
When sorted by Date, it should be Oldest down to newest.
