DESCRIPTION
When booting into the login manager screen (plasma-login-manager / SDDM), the
password input field, username and avatar, session selection dropdown, and
bottom action buttons (standby, restart, shutdown) disappear normally after a
short period, leaving only the wallpaper and the date/time. At that point,
typing the password does not make these controls reappear. However, after
pressing Backspace, Enter, or moving the mouse cursor, they appear, and the
password that was typed is already filled in the password field. Pressing Enter
again then logs you in.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Boot normally, wait for the system to reach the login manager screen, and
wait for the controls to hide.
2. Type the password (while the controls are hidden).
3. Press Backspace, Enter, or move the mouse cursor (any one of these).
4. The controls appear, and the password field shows the password.

OBSERVED RESULT
After the controls hide, typing the password does not bring them back.

EXPECTED RESULT
The login manager should show the controls upon any key press event.
