SYSTEM
- Linux -> Arch Linux -> Zenned
- Plasma 6.7.2
- Kwin 6.7.2
- Frameworks 6.27.0
- Qt 6.11.1
STEPS
1. Make a color profile on the app "DisplayCAL" using the default settings, or
any other settings.
2. Log into the X11 session, and use DisplayCAL to preview and apply the
calibration.
3. Log into the Wayland session, go to (System Settings -> Display & Monitor ->
Display Configuration", and on the field "color profile" select the generated
ICC profile.
RESULT
- On X11: The calibration looks fine, colors are similar than pre-calibration
but noticeably different.
- On Wayland: The same calibration results in very unsaturated colors. The LUT
data is being ignored entirely, and only the matrix portion is applied.
