                    same as in other applications
    Classification: Applications
           Product: gwenview
      Version First 26.04.2
       Reported In:
          Platform: Gentoo Packages
                OS: Linux

          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---

DESCRIPTION
Images with embedded color profiles do not render the same as in other
applications. They render consistently across various applications like
Firefox, Okular, GIMP, Krita, etc. but look oversaturated or washed out in
Gwenview, regardless of Gwenview's configured color rendering settings.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open an image with an embedded color profile in Gwenview (you can use
exiftool to see if it has one)
2. Open the same image in other applications that can render images
3. Compare

OBSERVED RESULT
The image looks different in Gwenview but the same in other applications.

EXPECTED RESULT
The image looks the same across all applications.
