Tried to launch neovim in kitty (debian testing, fully updated) and got the same error. Kitty was the only terminal emulator on my system and in the setting it was set as the default one. But that's not all I've got to say. I've installed konsole and it has been automatically set as the default terminal. Then I switched the default terminal to kitty and neovim finally started to launch via kitty. I uninstalled konsole and tried again, it worked. Even after reboot. I hope this workaround will be useful for someone, but it would be better if this bug was resolved, especially considering it's been there for at least a couple of years. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
