I press the mute button (when the volume is >0%) and after a few minutes I see the pop up with the current volume (same as before), and the popup plays the typical sound, and I can see in the lower right corner that the volume icon shows unmuted. I have no bluetooth devices currently paired or connected, nor any other output devices connected, but I do have my power cable connected.
